I am a practising litigation attorney of 40 odd years of litigation experience and previously worked as a magistrate in the Department of Justice . I specialise in Medical Law and have run a medical legal practice initially mainly representing Doctors (MPS and MDU) and then for a hospital group in SA and the UAE. Accordingly I have extensive medical legal experience. I hold the MiMS/UCT Mediation qualification. My main interest is Medical Mediation and also like to be considered for general and litigation mediation. I believe that I have a special aptitude for mediation. My highest accolade in this regard was from none other than Alan Nelson .He invited me to join coaches during mediation role plays as a co-assessor and advised that they would also like me to become one of their accredited coaches. He also intimated that he thought that I might be the "perfect candidate" to replace him and Jacques as lecturer. This avenue was not pursued as the requirement was for a younger person.
