I have practiced in the insurance industry for about 40 years, starting in 1985 at General Accident Insurance Company. I was admitted as an attorney in February 1990 and received Right of Appearance in the High Court in January 1996. I have 22 reported decisions, of which 11 is SCA judgments and 2 in the CC. The remainder in the High Court. I have acted as judge in the High Court, to date for a total period of 40 weeks. I have qualified as a mediator in 2012 and received my international accreditation in 2013.
Qualifications
I hold B. Com and LLB degrees from the University of Johannesburg as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law (cum laude) from the same institution. I am a qualified mediator accredited by both CD/ACDS (2012) and CEDR (2013) and a member of MiMM. My Legal Practice Council member number is: 8139
